World Leadership Conference 2011 Pics

It was fun, and we had a blast! More importantly, we completed the youth position paper for Rio +20.   We had a couple of speakers in town too. Here are some pics of the ones I enjoyed.

World Leadership Conference 2011 for Rio+20

Now at the World Leadership Conference 2011. Youth from the Asia Pacific region have flown into Singapore and over the next 5 days will be discussing the policy paper to be sent to the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development Rio +20 (June 4-6, 2012).   Main themes will cover 


a) Green Economy to Eradicate Poverty
b) Environmental Law & Governance
c) Energy for a Low Carbon Future

I'm actually not sure what you call those things that are used to tie the bread bags.  This is not a new idea, but I thought I'd show everyone how great it is !

myENV App

Totally and absolutely busy with work! That's why I haven't blogged in a while.  A few interesting things that I saw and wanted to blog about, and then there were things I wanted to refashion but just got pushed to the bottom of my to do list :-(

Yesterday, NEA launched its myENV App. You can use it to find info on the weather, air quality, hawker centres etc on the go. You can even give environmental feedback using it - snap a pic an send your feedback!  Only thing is I don't have an iPhone (yes, monopoly!!!) so I wonder when NEA will be doing other smart phone versions.  I think there is a computer script called myENV too, so will there be confusion?
